My two web sites have gotten a new look. The design features the same high-contrast, easy-to-read qualities as before, but the color scheme has been updated from yellows and greens to bolder red, white, and black colors.
Thanks to the site’s recent move to WordPress, the change was quite easy to manage. By updating the site’s theme, I was able to keep the look of the site consistent throughout. In the past, I had to update every page by hand when I changed the look of the site. This time I changed a few template files, and WordPress took care of the rest.
If anything is broken on the site, please let me know or post a comment here.

Great job on your re-design, Alex! It’s so much easier to read now.

Thanks so much for the comment, Trisha. You helped me SO MUCH!
Trisha did a unique kind of partnership with me on the web site redesign. I was resistant to hiring a typical web designer, because I did not want to give up control of the site’s look and structure. Trisha became my personal web and design mentor, sensei, and guru. I tried out ideas and she encouraged parts, improved others, and told me to start over again with some that just did not work. It was a wonderful experience.
I met her through friends who had their complete web site done by her, and she did a great job on those as well. I am so glad I listened to their encouragement: “Just call Trisha. She will help, she will understand your brand, and she will work with you the way you need her to. Just call!”
They were 100% right.
Thanks, Trisha!

P.S. Anything that is really great on my site, you can credit to Trisha. Anything that is awkward or odd, you can blame on me. I did a lot of the coding and design myself, with Trisha just guiding my hand and contributing some key ideas.
