Introducing project management to an organization is hard work. By appealing to the strategists and the senior executives in your organization, it is possible to make project management grow and flourish.

About the Speech
This speech was delivered before the PMI Tampa Bay Chapter on 17 and 18 November 2008. The speech was featured in the dinner meeting event, and then was repeated the following day for a lunchtime speech for a smaller group.
Thanks so much to the volunteers and chapter officers for the event. They were wonderful hosts. I brought all my recording equipment to demonstrate how to create a speech recording and podcast. Perhaps the chapter will be producing recordings soon!

Good day
I have just joined project management field after completing a certificate in Project Management.
I have just listened to one of Alex’s audio’s and its brilliant work. I would like to know if you have a templates of a project plan and project procedures.
Is it possible for someone like me to attend conferences and seminars remotely. May you please provide me with project closure/postmortem templates as well.
Regards
Masande,
My recommendation is to look at the web seminar series. If you like these audio recordings, the web seminar series gets you access to many more hours of material like this. You can also attend live events from any Internet-connected computer, as part of this series. All the events are offered through Real-Life Projects, a PMI Registered Education Provider, and you get professional development units (PDUs) for listening to the recordings or attending the live events.
I do not put out a template for a project plan, because I have not seen a single template that works well for all companies and project types. I do have some project charter templates here on alexsbrown.com.
Thanks for your enthusiasm, and I will keep putting out more material like this.
