Date: January 9th 2009
I normally only send one update per month, but I have a special situation this month. I want to offer a web seminar in February, but I need your help to make it happen.
I would like to have a full, 10-program web seminar series in 2009, but I need commitment from at least 20 people. A good web seminar series needs supporters and attendees.
For a limited time (about a month), you have the opportunity to become a charter subscriber to the 2009 web seminar series. Make a pledge at Fundable.com:
If we get enough subscribers, we will have a web seminar series. If we do not meet the goal, then your pledge will NOT be collected and there will be no web seminar series.
Also, if you are not 100% satisfied with the series, I will also refund your money at any time.
Make your pledge now:
You will not only be supporting all the great, free content on alexsbrown.com, you will also be getting a bargain for yourself. A basic pledge is just $25 for the year. There will be 10 or more seminars in the 2009 program. After this pledge is closed, the price will go up to at least $40 a year or at least $10 per seminar.
I look forward to seeing your pledge. You can pledge using any major credit card or PayPal.
If you have any questions about this program, ask me anytime. I expect to send out an update on the progress of this offer in a few weeks.

About once a month I send out an e-mail about what is new or changed on the alexsbrown.com site. The e-mail contains a short summary of the new areas, articles, or features, and a link to the new material. It is a convenient way to get notification as new material becomes available. Each e-mail will also contain information about one service or product from my company, Real-Life Projects, Inc. (http://www.rlprj.com/).
The articles are generally about project management, IT and strategic planning. They are based on research, my personal experiences, and my personal point of view.
