I have taken the plunge and I am posting on Twitter. For anyone who wants to follow me there, visit:
I have also linked my Twitter account to Facebook, so you can see the updates on my Facebook page, too.
I was initially reluctant to spend the time updating something like Twitter, but then I realized that it could be a good way to stay in touch with people. I promise not do fill you in on the typical “what am I eating” and “what is my pet doing” posts that seem to dominate Twitter. I plan to put important ideas and thoughts that come up.
If I am at a conference or other meeting place, I also plan to post information about where I am, to help meet up with people in the area.
Feel free to subscribe to the Twitter feed, if you like. I hope to keep it interesting and entertaining.
For those who have read my multi-page articles, you will know that the hardest part about Twitter for me is the 140-character limit. It really forces me to be brief!
